Art is my Escape

I used my self timer for this image.  This was my medium shot for our self portrait project.   I like how i am in a brightly lit room surrounded by caffeine as well! I also like my silhouette and the fact I am painting, its one of my favorite hobbies.

My Still Delicious Life

I really don't know off hand what setting I used for this image. I thought that this was the best photo out of my settings test. I wish the chair wasn't in the photo.  I love all of the tasty goodness.

Two are Dead

I used my close-up setting for this image.  This is a dead cacada, so creepy.  It was on the same cross previously.  Was just too good to not post!

Unfortunate

I used my auto setting for this image and adjusted the white balance.  I was on my way home from work and decieded to stroll through the nearby cemetery.  You hardly ever see wooden crosses anymore, and the misfortune of the bird poop was over the top.

I used my auto setting and changed the white balance to cloudy for this image.  I was outside my friend Jordan's house and really liked how this picture turned out.

Urban Reflects

I used my portrait setting for this image.  We were out to dinner and as I was walking in between these buildings I noticed the reflection.  I know its not the clearest picture, but I was half way walking still.  When I was editing photos is when I actually noticed it.

Under the Town's Bridge

I believe I used my auto setting for this image.  I was in downtown Orlando and looked behind me and caught this image.  I really like how the 2 people stand out under the blue lights and the city's structure in general.

Here Ye Here Ye Someone's Dead

I am not sure on what setting I used for this image.  This is Nick and we went out shooting for a class project.  I liked his profile with the cemetery and flag.  I had a few pictures I really liked, but I decieded to choode this one.

Ding Dong, Who's There?

I used my close-up setting for this image.  I really liked the color contrast on my friend Amanda's front door.  I liked the angle I chose as well.

Hello Gloom

I used my black and white setting for this image.  I know we arn't typically suspose to shoot in black and white, but with the sunlight trying to come in and the wall paper print, I thought it looked awesome.  I tried to evenly balance the two images.  I thought it was pretty.

Darkness Lurks

I am not positive on what setting I used for this image.  I was playing around with the shadows and natural lighting, angels as well.  I just liked the simplicity of this skull, its so strong.

MMM MMM Good

I used  my close-up setting for this image.  I actually took a lot of different shots of these berries I picked, but thought that the close-up setting came out the clearest.  I am trying to experiment with different settings and lighting.  I ended up eating these right after these photos!

Tube to Nowhere

I used my close-up setting for this image.  This was a weird tube like piece I found in the back of my house.  I don't know exactly what it is, but I thought it was interesting how it makes the eye follow it.

Peaceful...finally?

I used my close-up setting for this image.  I thought it was very pretty with the flowers being  more the focus point rather than the gravestone.  Cemetery photography is one of my favorite genre's of photography.

I used my close-up setting for this image.  This is my friend Joe's living/dinning area.  I really liked the different shadows and lighting captured in this photo, as well as the symmetry with the table and chairs. He is an artist as well, so the title seemed to fit nicely.

Drift Away

I used my sports spectator setting for this image.  This was one of my favorites for the live model shoot.  I took over 300 shots and it was very hard to pick just one.  I really liked the sky and the darker silhouette for this photo.  The flowers look so peaceful and ironally are dark when they are actually red.

Minimal Feelings

I used my sports spectator setting for this image.  If you zoom in it isn't the clearest photo, but I really liked their expressions and the layout of the photo also, Shawn helped out a lot with the benefit. It was very hard to choose just one photo due to the fact that I took over 400 photos all night!  This is my friend Shawn.  Tonight me and Shawn threw a Disaster Relief benefit to raise money for the victims of both Japan and the South due to natural disasters that raise nearly $700 for the cause (s).  We booked 15 acts with 3 areas of music.  It was a blast and plan on doing more in the future.
